Artist - Tony Warrilow
Warrahwillah presents oceanscape photography from an art perspective. The gallery showcases the work of photographer Tony Warrilow.
The images presented with the ART LABEL are a selection from the “Aerial Series” and from “First Edition”.
The Aerial Series.
An ongoing project with images captured from above the roaming swells of Indian and Southern oceans. This birds-eye perspective provides a unique viewpoint and highlights the magnitude and texture of the breaking waves as they collide with the Australian coast.
Tony Warrilow’s first ocean study. Predominantly captured in the South Western corner of Australia, the series is broad in range but typically characterised by the rich colours and raw ocean power of the region.
Warrahwillah is an indigenous word that can be loosely interpreted as laughing or twisting water.
